The ZFBD self-adhesive fireproof wrapping tape (flame-retardant tape for cables) is a new type of self-adhesive strip product used for fire protection and flame retardancy of cables or communication optical cables.

This product has the advantages of reliable quality and good performance, and is an upgraded replacement for cable fireproof materials. Currently, it has been applied in fire protection and flame retardant projects of cables and communication optical cables, playing an important role in eliminating fire hazards and ensuring the normal operation of power transmission and communication lines.

Applicable Locations and Scope

Applicable to fire protection and flame retardant projects of various cables or communication optical cables laid in environments such as pipe wells, trenches, tunnels, and overhead areas in places including power plants (stations), substations, power transmission projects, steel plants, chemical plants, high-rise buildings, subways, coal mines, and passages.

This product is water-resistant, oil-resistant, and chemical-reagent-resistant. It does not crack or peel off, and can maintain long-term effectiveness with one-time construction.

Features

1. Wrap it around the outer surface of cables or communication optical cables with 12 or 13 wraps (2 or 3 layers; 3 layers offer better fire and flame retardant performance). In case of fire, the tape forms a carbonized layer that insulates heat and blocks oxygen, protecting the wrapped cables and preventing flames from spreading along the cables.
2. When a fire breaks out in the external environment, the ZFBD self-adhesive flame-retardant tape can protect cables and communication optical cables from damage within a certain period, ensuring the normal operation of power transmission and communication signals.
3. It is non-toxic, odorless, and pollution-free during production and use. With self-adhesiveness, it is convenient and quick to construct, does not affect the construction period, and can maintain long-term effectiveness after one-time application.
4. It has a reasonable construction thickness, fits closely with cables and communication optical cables, and has no impact on the current-carrying capacity of the cables and optical cables.
5. It has a long service life, synchronized with that of cables and communication optical cables (actually longer than the service life of cables or optical cables). Stored at room temperature indoors, it can be kept for more than 35 years without quality issues and can be used normally.
6. It meets the Class A flame-retardant standard specified in GB12666.5, which means it can convert non-flame-retardant cables into Class A high flame-retardant cables.
7. It solves key technical problems in the field of cable fire protection and flame retardancy in China. Its fire and flame retardant performance is far superior to ordinary cable fireproof materials, and it is an upgraded product for fire protection and flame retardant materials of cables and communication optical cables that ordinary materials cannot match.
