Product Overview
- It is a neutral-curing structural sealant designed specifically for structural bonding and assembly in building curtain walls. It can be easily extruded for use over a wide temperature range, and cures into a high-modulus, highly elastic silicone rubber (which is excellent and durable) by reacting with moisture in the air.
- It is a one-component silicone glass adhesive (commonly known as "glass glue"), which is ointment-like. When exposed to moisture in the air, it cures into a tough rubber-like solid, and is often used for bonding and sealing glass.

Differences Between Structural Adhesives and Non-Structural Adhesives
- Structural adhesives: High strength (compressive strength >65MPa, steel-to-steel tensile bonding strength >30MPa, shear strength >18MPa), capable of bearing large loads, with aging resistance, fatigue resistance and corrosion resistance. Their performance remains stable within the expected service life, making them suitable for bonding load-bearing structural components.
- Non-structural adhesives: Low strength and poor durability, only suitable for ordinary/temporary bonding, sealing and fixing, and cannot be used for bonding structural components.
- Construction projects (with a service life of more than 50 years in most cases, and components subject to complex stresses) require the use of structural adhesives to ensure the safety of personnel and property.
