Expansion type steel structure fire retardant coating: When exposed to fire, the foaming components in the coating decompose upon heating, forming a dense and uniform heat-insulating, oxygen-isolating expansion carbon layer. This blocks heat transfer and undergoes endothermic decomposition reactions, thereby slowing down the temperature rise of the steel structure and providing protection.

Application Scope
Used on building steel structures that require a fire resistance rating of 2 hours or less, such as beams, floor slabs, roof load-bearing components in Class I buildings; columns, beams, floor slabs, various light steel beams, grids, etc. in Class II buildings.
Construction Methods
- Before constructing the fire retardant coating, clean the surface of steel structure components (remove dust, oil stains, debris) and perform rust removal. Apply anti-rust primer (ensure it does not react chemically with the fire retardant coating). The fire retardant coating can be constructed only after the anti-rust primer is completely dry.
- Construction should be carried out after the steel structure project is accepted, the connected pipes of the steel structure are installed, the roof waterproof project is completed, and before interior decoration.
- During construction, ensure the coating is not damaged by subsequent projects, and pay attention to covering and protecting other on-site facilities.
